According to news coming from Iran, Mahmoud Beheshti Langroudi the spokesperson for Iran's Teachers Union is on hunger strike in Evin prison . He started the hunger strike since last thursday and in a letter he wrote from Evin prison, he said:
In a few minutes court session, judge Salavati sentenced him to 9 years imprisonment . In protest to this judges decision , he wrote a letter to the judiciary and officials of the Islamic regime in Iran and demanded this decision be revoked / dropped .
Mr. Mahmoud Beheshti Langroudi in his letter said:
"I have been teaching the children of this country for 25 years and more than 15 years i served the teachers in their teachers union."
Mr. Langroudi warned the officials that anything happenes on him during this hunger strike in prison , will be the responsibility of the judiciary and officials.
