Asma Jahangir A Pakestani Human Rights Advocate And Lawyer Become UN Human Rights Reporter To Iran

Asma Jahangir Is going to replace Ahmed Shaheed the current UN human rights reporter to Iran. Asma Jahangir will start her role in November.

Ms. Jahangir was a member of Pakistani Lawyers movement and a free thinker . She has served for years on Pakistan children and women rights and she is also one of the two founder and president of the Pakistan human Rights commission .
Doctor Ahmed Shaheed is the UN human rights reporter since 2010 . Doctor Shaheed has congratulated her on her nomination.

Ms. Jahangir was in Pakistan prison from 1983 to  2007 .
