Tehran Municipality Hired 400 Hijab Guards To Be Stationed In The Subways.

As the anniversary of the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement approaches, the government's efforts to intensify the pressure against the opposition, especially women, have increased. And each of the government institutions implements an organized suppression program, among these programs, we can mention the hiring of 400 personnel as hijab guards with a monthly salary of 12 million tomans in the subways.These Hijab Guards will be stationed at 70 subways in the city of Tehran. Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, said: "Women who refuse to wear the hijab, we proceed according to the laws of the country, the first step is to inform them, the second step is to warn those without a hijab, and the third step is to prevent them from entering the subway."
