Nikahang Kowsar the Iranian Cartoonist who lives in Canada, in his absence in Iran was sentenced to four months jail !

Nikahang Kowsar the cartoonist of the banned reformists newspapers such as " Sobhe Emrooz " , in this morning was sentenced to four months prison ( which will be on hold for up to two years) by the division 1083 of the Tehran public court. The presiding judge was judge Hoseinian.
Nik is charged with defamation and insult to Mr. Mohammad Taghi Mesbah Yazdi the head of the "Educational Institute of Emam Khomeini " and Mr. Ali Larijani the former president of " Seda Va Sima " ( Radio - Television of IRI ) for comparing him with the ministry of information agent Saeed Emami who have masterminded the " Chain murdering " of Iranian intellectuals and a few other charges .
Nikahang was absent in this court due to his illness and currently lives in Canada but his lawyer instead was in the court .
