Women protest on government new policy over female quota on entering universities!
The related government agency announced that from coming year the female quota for enterance examination for university and colleges would be 30% and this brought protest by women. The government agency as well indicated that the quota for male is also 30%.
The previous reports showed that, the female students in Iranian universities were 65 % comparing to male students.
The whole scenario shows that the government adopted this policy because of increasing number of students in Iranian universities. They are afraid that increasing number of students mean uncontrolable student movement .
Despite of all these measures by the government , the student movement as strong as before continues to cry for freedom in Iran.
