Aftab News: After the death of Mahsa Amini more than 30 journalists have been arrested including ; Arya Jafari, Sadie Fathi, Ehsan Pirbornash , Nazila Maroufian, Marzieh Amiri and….are only part of those journalists arrested during this time. Among those arrested the case file of two journalists took wider dimmentions. Niloofar Hamedi and Elaheh Mohammadi , journalists of Sharq Newspaper and Ham-Mihan who were arrested on Thursday September 22, and Thursday September 29 by security forces. Elaheh Mohammadi travelled to Saqez to prepare a report on the funeral of Mahsa Amini with the approval of the social service news department and newspapers director to prepare a documentary report for Ham-Mihan newspaper. Niloofar Hamedi also went to Kasra Hospital on 13 September to prepare a report for Sharq newspaper about what happened to Mahsa Amini, But her follow up from the law enforcement authorities did not succeed in publishing her report in Sharq newspaper. The follow up of what happened was based on the journalistic mission of these two journalists, but it was nothing but “ arrest by the security institutions” . Reaction to the joint statement almost a month after the arrest of Elaheh Mohammadi and Niloofar Hamedi , a news was published in social networks and media with the title: The first joint statement of IRGC intelligence and the Ministry of Intelligence”.
