IRAN WATCH CANADA:
Part one:A political insight-
For how long the government of Ahmadinejad will continue going these way? Will it stop short by the popular uprising , resistance ? The Iranian have a proverb it says " The spring will tell if the year is good " , the Government of Ahmadinejad in its almost 7 months in power showed it does not understand the international norms of running a government as a member of the international body . Now will the religious reformers backed by Khatami going to start to bring their outrages this time instead of behind the door to the street ?Hesitation !? will the "Melli-Mazhabi's" and other liberal minded religious start to organize their supporter before it is too late? The Iranian had already enough with the government of Ahmadinejad .In the history there are times and moments that are so crucial to decide what to do next? or what is the best step to take ? is it the time to organize ? yes , is it the time to resist? I believe so . This is what Akbar Ganji alone did and he always said ; "the leaders must pay the price" .
It will be disastrous if we are not a dedicated captain of the ship . If we are going to leave the ship with its occupant in the middle of the path , if this is so we better not to take the step as the captain and crew of the ship , period .
But all the situation indicate that the government is unable to handle the agendas set forth for a normal government to run. The Islamic system as well; like always been rejected by the vast majiority of the population ( out of 70Million Iranian 30Million are aged under 30 years old and 8 years ago 20 Million voted for reform ).This government was in fact the government in shadow during the reformist government of Mohammad Khatami and tried all it could to stop the reform . How many years more Iranian people can waite? Until the government is totally isolated and then bear in mind that it would be hard to hear anything from Iran !? How long can we waite? It seems to me that this system and government is ready to pay the price and survive by even going into isolation .Is this the case ? Is it whats happening? Does it matter for us if the regime choose to? If it is a matter of gradual death then why not find an alternative?
