Heshmatollah Tabarzadi's lawyer Mr. Khalil Bahramian : My client is entitled to conditional release and must be released from prison!

Heshmatollah Tabarzadi is the general secretary of "Iran's Democratic Front " , he was condemned by Tehrans revolution court to 14 years imprisonment and also he was deprived from all kind of social rights for 10 years, he recieved all of this because of charges like " Actions against national security by forming Iran's Democratic Front and insulting the leader of the Islamic Republic" ,which then in appeal court the sentences was reduced to 5 years for " Actions against national security " and 2 years for " Insulting the leader " , and therefore in general he recieved a total of 7 years imprisonment and 10 years depriviation from all social rights, this sentencing then was approved by the superior court .

The lawyer said this morning i have met with my client in Evin prison and my client during 3 years imprisonment had a chance of only one time to leave the prison for his entitled "leave of absence " and that was 8 months ago. My client have been in prison since June of 1999 and therefore he spent more than 3 over 4 of his prison sentence and he also said that my client have said that he spent more than 3 years of the prison term in solitary confinement which should also be considered . With all of this; i think my client is entitled to be conditionally released.
