Mr. Ramazan Haji-Mashhadi , a media lawyer believes that : The legal problems the media faces is the same problems that exists in the present press law , which in this same frame, the media must be the mirror of the public thoughts.

Mr. Ramazan Hajimashadi in speaking with ISNA believes that : The media after a relative freedom that was already existed , practically became relatively stegnant by occasional closure and the writers and managing directors of the newspapers in a way started self censoring .

He added : With the existance of a new jury which the lawyers and the legal society are critical to them , still there are problems in the media law. The media law does not recognize the same rights that it provides for managing directors of the newspapers to writers and journalist and deals with them like a criminal.

This lawyer emphasized : According to the constitution and the universal declaration of human rights and the international covenants which we have joined , the press are free in expressing the problems and must show the problems of the society without fear from any officials .
He also said : With the present media law , practically there is no job security based on the constitution and universal declaration of human rights for the media employees. The example for this is the many journalists that have lost their job after the closure of thier newspapers and also practically there is no social security for them.

Mr. Mashadi then spoke about the existance of vacuums of law in the field of media and the non-existance of a pioneer , modern , efficient law based on present time .
