Ms. Zhila Baniyaqub, journalist and women activist has been summoned and interrogated !

"Zhila" was summoned by the branch number 14 of Tehran's court of revolution and (yesterday) Wednesday September 20 / 2006 was interrogated in this branch.
She said that : "The main questions in the interrogation was about my participation in the women's gathering on June 12 /2006 and i was accused for " action against national security by participation in this gathering" .
She answered to the questions but pleaded not guilty of the charges.
Ms. Zhila Baniyaqub was covering the news about the June 12/2006 gathering of women protesting on the violation of their rights, she was arrested and was brought to Cell number 209 in Evin prison .She was then released a week later by surety .
Ms. Zhila Baniyaqub is currently the editor of online magazin " Kanoone Zanane Irani " ( Centre for Iranian Women " and she is also in charge of "women and social issues " of the " Sarmayeh "
( Capital ) newspaper.
