The Association in Defense of Press Freedom announced that; At present there are 8 journalists and press personality in prison.
According to the report recieved by the ISNA , Mashaollah Shamsolvaezin , The spokperson for the association on the occasion of 3rd conferrence on reviewing the press related issues in Iran has said: Abbas Abdi, Akbar Ganji, Reza Alijani, Hoda Saber , Hossain Ghazian, Siyamak Pourzand, Ensafali Hedayat and Arash Sigarchi are presently in prison.
