Dr. Ramin Jahanbeglu the associate professor of philosophy in Toronto University have been arrested in Iran !

On Monday May the first , 2006 this news was released that on International Labour Day Dr. Ramin Jahanbeglu a well know personality have been arrested and it is a few days that he is in detention.His friends who have been in touch with his family have confirmed this news. In this regard , Mr. Eisa Saharkheiz the journalist from Tehran have told to the Radio Germany that : What i know is that i checked with his friends who are in touch with his family and they said the way his family have responded to the question indicate that he has been arrested .In the meantime the an internet side of Canadian Television also reported that he has been arrested .
Mr. Ramin Jahanbeglu is a writer and the head of a group called the "contemporary thought" . Dr. Jahanbeglu has a doctorate degree in philosophy from Paris based Sorbon University and he also has an associate degree in Middle Eastern study from Harvard University.

In recent years he was working as a researcher in the French Association of Iranian studies in Tehran. He was also an associate professor of philosophy in Toronto University.
