UN human rights council- Case of Abdolreza Tajik

The family members of Abdolreza Tajik the imprisoned journalist are worried about his situation. In an open letter to Mohammad Sadegh Larijani the head of judiciary power they have expressed their deep concern about his situation. according to report he was "Sexually assaulted" ( Hatke Hormat- His lawyer believe this mean sexual assault) right in front of deputy prosecutor in Evin prison .

In this letter the sister and brother of Abdolreza Tajik wrote: " At the end, 31 days after his arrest.....on July 14 we successfully met him in one of the Evin prison cabin. "

They added: "In this meeting our brother Abdolreza ...with grief ,discomfort and anger emphasized that he had been "sexually assaulted" , he demanded that he would like to meet his lawyer and Tehran prosecutor immediately."

The family members have informed Mohammad sadegh Larijani the head of judiciary power and Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi the Tehran prosecutor, but havn't got any responce from them for 10 days now.

At the end, the family members have requested from these officials to look into the situation of their oppressed imprisoned brother.
