"Kissing" a Basic Human Reaction to each other in Public is Not Acceptable by Islamic Regime Standard !

Leila Hatami is an Iranian actor known internationally by playing a film known as " A Separation" which won the Oscar . Recently she was appointed as judges for Cannes Film Festival . While in Film Festival she met Cannes president Gilles Jacob who greeted her with a kissed and this kissing became a big issue for Islamic regime in Iran. Kissing of prominent Iranian in international stages ,including president or officials with other sex are not allowed under Islamic regime. This isn't the first time it is happening ,in the past Kiarostami and Asghar Farhadi  Iranian international award winning directors were also under pressure by Islamic regime. In Kiarostami's case, he kissed a female actor while in paris and described the kiss " Had the taste of cherry" , but upon his return in the airport he said; "that cherry taste became bitter ".


Here is Gilles Jacob's comments to ayatollahs in Iran :

"This controversy based on a normal Western custom is baseless," tweeted the festival head, after Iranian authorities publicly condemned actress Leila Hatami for greeting him with a kiss on the cheek.
