Mehrdad Sarjouei Iranian Journalist is sentenced to three years imprisonment !

Mehrdad Sarjouei was former parliamentarian reporter of English Newspapers in Iran "Iran News and Tehran Times" . He spent 10 months of the last year in temporary custody and on Wednesday Nov.28 he was transferred to Ward 350 in Evin prison to spent the rest of his three years sentence.Mr. Sarjouei was  parliamentarian political reporter and was arrested at his home on 2011 by security forces and was immediately transferred to ward 209 in Evin prison..At the beginning he was accused of "espionage " and then later judge Pir- Abbasi  another security judge, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment on charges of " Writing articles, analysis , interviews for the interest and in collaboration of hostile countries " . After 10 months temporary custody at the end of April this year ,he was released on bail. From 2006 -2011 Mehrdad was in charge of public relation in expediency council of the Islamic Republic .
