Mr. Alireza Alavitabar one of the journalist & political activist have been sentenced to 15 months imprisonment by the division number 26 of Tehran court of revolution. His sentence will stay on suspension for three years.
According to a report by ILNA reporter sometime ago Mr. Alivitabar wrote an article on " militarism" and its cosequences , this article was published in a magazin in the city of Yazd .
After publication of this article a complainant brought a complaint against him on the charges that he has " insulted the leader of the Islamic Republic" and the complainant filed it in division number 26 of...... After reviewing the charges on December 28, 2005, the judge of the case issued 15 months jail term for Mr. Alavitabar and ordered that; the sentence will be in suspension for three years.
