Arrested women's rights activists in Gilan are tortured and harassed !

News from Akhbar-rooz: The reports published in the media indicate torture and severe pressure on the detained women's rights activists in Gilan. Human rights activists and some news sources in Gilan say that the people who were recently arrested by the Intelligence Department of Gilan province under the pretext of "forming a group for subversive actions" are being tortured and harassed by the agents.

The mother's of Khavaran are mothers who have lost their loved ones ( Husband, Son and daughters ) under the Brutal Islamic regime . More than 4000( in one account) - 10,000 ( in another account)Iranian political dissidents were killed( hanged in Evin or Gohardasht and other prisons)) while in prison by Islamic judiciaries with Khomeini's direct order and burried in mass graves in Khavaran and elsewhere in Aug- September 1987-88 .By a simple google search you may find documents ( pictures) and articles about this crimes against humanity by the Islamic regime . The Mothers of Khavaran since then was firmed and since then called for justice , some of these mothers are no longer with us but their struggle for justice will be continues ,until the justice is done. After her death , people mostly young Iranian women protested all over Iran and more than 500 of these young girl and boys killed by the Islamic regime in the streets of Iran . This coming September 16 marks the anniversary commemoration of her killing in the hands of the authorities and the killing of more than 500 young Iranian .

Eleven activists of the Rasht city been arrested on the eve of the anniversary of the Uprising known as , wome, Life , Freedom. this morning August 17 , families of these activists attended at rasht public prosecutor office to follow their loved one's situation. Yesterday morning ,Miss Jelveh Javaheri , Ms.Forough Saminia, Ms.Matin Yazdani, Ms. Yasamin Hashdari, Ms. Negin Rezaei , Ms. Zahra Dadras, Ms. Vahedeh Khoshsirat, Ms. Shiva Shahsiah , Ms. Sara Jahani and Mis Zohreh Dadras including Mr. Hooman Taheri were arrested from their homes in Rasht, Anzali , Lahijan and Fuman . The public prosecutors office released no information about their charges and about where they have been taken to and no phone call were made by these detainees .

Tehran Municipality Hired 400 Hijab Guards To Be Stationed In The Subways.

As the anniversary of the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement approaches, the government's efforts to intensify the pressure against the opposition, especially women, have increased. And each of the government institutions implements an organized suppression program, among these programs, we can mention the hiring of 400 personnel as hijab guards with a monthly salary of 12 million tomans in the subways.These Hijab Guards will be stationed at 70 subways in the city of Tehran. Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, said: "Women who refuse to wear the hijab, we proceed according to the laws of the country, the first step is to inform them, the second step is to warn those without a hijab, and the third step is to prevent them from entering the subway."

Journalist Nazila Marufian Was Released On Bail , But Arrested Again Together With Her Mom ......

According to published reports, Nazila Marufian, a journalist who was released on bail on Sunday, yesterday evening when she went to the police station to retrieve her mobile phone, after a severe beating by police officers, she was arrested along with her mother and taken to Qarchak prison. Her mother was released from prison, but this journalist was transferred to the quarantine ward of the prison with a temporary arrest warrant. According to witnesses in the police station, one of the officers of the police station punched at the back of the head of Nazila and in response to her mother who said that you want to kill my daughter like Mehsa Gina Amini, in response the officer said : "Yes, just like we killed her, " We will kill her too.”

According to news from Kurdish Human rights organization, Soheila Mohammadi The Kurdish Political Prisoner Sewed Her Lips And Went On Hunger Strike ! Ms. Mohammadi did this on Saturday Aug. 5,2023 because of the violation of her rights In Orumieh prison.

She also demanded from prison authorities to let her to have a conditional freedom with electronic device on her feet after spending three years of her five years imprisonment. She have commited suicide inside prison but was saved by her cell mates . She has a child and is from the city of Salmas in Azarbayejan and was arrested by security forces in autumn of 2020 .

Akhbar-rooz ,Sunday July 30 ,2023 After the killing of Mahsa Jina Amini a young Kurdish woman for Hijab reason at Morality police custoday , a wave of protest started from September 2022 and continued upto March 2023, which is known as " Women , Life , Freedom ", at least 90 journalists were arrested and among them these two journalists ; Niloofar Hamedi and Elaheh Mohammadi . Because of their courage to report the truth about the event which lead to the killing of Mahsa , they have received several international awards. Their first international award for courage was given to them by CJFE ,the Canadian Journalists For Freedom Of Expression and since then they received several other international awards. The Islamic regime however condemned them to imprisonment and its been more than 300 days ,they have been in prison. Ms. Sayadi is from Zahedan city a city known for lack of regime attention on housing , drinking water , health care and many other infrustructures . Ms. Sayadi is known for her activities helping child labor for their education. regime security forces have arrested and detained her for what isn't a crime but a humanitarian work. According to Ms. Narges Mohammadi , Ms. Zohreh Sayadi is suffering from Cancer and she is doing the chemothrapy while in prison.During her activities for 10 years , she is arrested ten times and currently is serving a one year imprisonment sentencing.

Nine Iranian Bahai Citizen Are Summoned To The Public Prosecution Office

According to news from Akhbare-Rooz,Nine Bahai citizens received summon to attend on Saturday July 29 ,2023 at Mashhad city public prosecution office .These Bahai citizens are: Roya Malakouti, Roya Ghane-Azabadi, Shohreh Salakian, Golnoush Nasiri , Azita Foroghi , Noushin Mesbah , Soheila Ahmadi , Farideh Moradi and Nasim Sabeti . According to a Bahai , Mr. Ali Soleymani Marshag the prosecutor just asked Roya Malakouti to enter into the office for interrogation and investigation and later after four hours of interrogation she was transferred to Vakil Abad prison in the city of Mashhad and postponded the rest of the cases to future date.This is happening while none of these citizens know about their charges.
