By the order of the regime "Hayate Nou" newspaper or "New life" in English , was shut down!

Hayate Nou newspaper was ordered to a closure by the media watchdog.
According to Fars news agency which is a pro regime of coup detat newspaper :
"Hayat Now" was ordered to a closure because it violated the media law . The media watchdog ordered to the closure.

In another news -Reza Moeini from RSF announced that:
More then 60 Iranian journalist have left the country for the fear of persecution. This is national disaster.

Judge Said Mortazavi the suspect in murdering the Iranian -Canadian photojournalist Zahra Kazemi and the enemy of independent and reform newspaper , journalists and bloggers have come to the rescue of Ahmadinejad !

Three days remaining to the 10th presidential election in Iran and with the positive sign that Mr. Musavi is going to be elected as president of the Islamic Republic in Iran , Said Mortazavi the infamous Tehran public prosecutor had ordered for the closure of "Yase Nou" newspaper just three days befor the election.

Yesterday evening, several plain cloth agents attended in the office of this newspaper which is known as pro-reform and pro-Musavi.the agents upon arrival showed the order of judge Said Mortazavi to the officials of the newspaper and asked them to leave the office and building and announced the closure of the newspaper.

Now , with the closure of "Yase Nou" , "Mosharekat" party a close supporter of Musavi once again became without newspaper at this vital moment in the history of Iran. Their last newspaper " Eqbal" was also banned in less than 72 hours before the presidential election four years ago when Ahmadinejad mysteriousely was anounced as the winner.And again, six years ago Mortazavi ordered for the closure of "Yase Nou"just one day before the parliamentary election.

Said Mortazavi is known as the butcher of reformists media!

The experience and history shows that , when the position of anti-modern , conservatives and in the case of Iran the fundamentalists are weakened or taken by the forces of reformer or advanced modern and civil rights forces , they react by moving forward and showing their teeth to the people and their organizations. Said Mortazavi is one of those fundamentalist forces known as anti-civil rights. Time to time, he comes out of his place due to either order or breathing difficulties. Once again he showed his teeth and his adversary with independent media and reformists or independent journalists. This time his victim is the "Yase Nou Newspaper" . Just after one day publication ( number one ) , he ordered its closure. Minister of guidance together with Said Mortazavi the public prosecutor of the Islamic Republic judiciary system in Tehran sent their agents at late night of May 16 to stop printing of "Yase Nou" newspaper. As a result , many journalists lost another job. This is the third time this newspaper is targeted by ministry of guidance.

Mr. Mohammad Naimipoor the manager in charge of "Yase nou" told to ILNA reporter that ; the closure of newspaper is illegal and he believes political interest and presidential election had something to do with papers closure.

" Nimrooz" weekly was to be published , its liscence was cancelled by Ahmadinejad's government!
Nimrooz was going to be published with Mohammad Ghoochani as its editor in chief and the rest of the team of weekly " Shahrvand Emrooz " which was banned after a speech by syed Ali Khamenei.
It is hard for those who are critical to the policy of government to receive liscence permission for publication.
Behind all this scenario is the Ministry of Guidance and Mr. Safar Harandi the Minister of Guidance & the government of Ahmadinejad.

Weekly magazin " Shahrvand Emrooz" has been banned!


The reason for the closure was because of an interview with a relative of Rafsanjani who spoke about the murdering of Ayatollah Lahuti in Evin prison by Lajvardi the former head of the Evin prison.

Appointed Ahmadinejad's team of managers clearing the government media from independent minded journalists!

Ahmadinejad's government continue its attack on journalists !
Is this a policy which has been dictated to Ahmadinejad government by the expediency council or it is the arbiterary decision of the Ahmadinejad and his circle.
According to the news the government of Ahmadinejad has appointed managers for the news agency's like IRNA and Iran newspaper ( these are pro government agency's ) . These managers has started a new round of layoff and early retirement of journalists who are critical to the government of Ahmadinejad.
So far IRNA has changed its managers for three times and in less than six months all the past managers of this news agency has been removed from their post.
One of the journalist emphasized: With the order of new managers in IRNA all the people who were working in IRNA as managers or had sensitive post in IRAN have time until end of September to retire ( early retirement).
Last Week the file of at least 18 official personel of the IRNA (News Agency) was sent to the human resources to finalize their early retirement.
Some of the journalists and managing editors in protest to this trend of expulsion , layoff, and forced early retirement has created a blog to speak about their situation.
According to Ahmad Jalali Farahani one of the oldest working journalist In Iran Newspaper 59 journalists have been either expelled ,resigned or discussed on pakages for early retirement.
